Loan for home improvement
- Who is eligible
- Insureds who receive family benefits paid by the CCSS.
- Under what circumstances
- Work that may be eligible for this loan includes:
- repair work,
- sanitation works (installation of water points, bathrooms, separate toilets),
- improvement works (ventilation, lighting, insulation, installation of gas, electricity),
- works to make unused rooms inhabitable.
- The following are not considered:
- maintenance work, (paint, wallpaper),
- works of a lavish nature.
- How much
- The payment ceiling is set annually by the Committees.
- Under what terms
- Award conditions
- Receive family benefits from the CCSS,
- Insured persons who have been registered with CCSS for at least six months and who meet the conditions to access rights. For insured employees in the Principality for less than twelve months, a permanent contract will be required.
- Payment conditions
- The loan is paid to the employee by bank transfer.
- Repayment conditions
- In a maximum of 24 monthly repayments.
- Repayment starts from the second month following the date of disbursement of the loan.
- Guarantee conditions
- Wage assignment, as first priority, to be registered at the Monaco Court.
- Loan agreement signed jointly by both spouses.
- What supporting documents need to be supplied

- Valid identity document or residence permit of the spouses (the additional five years of validity granted by France are not valid for the registration of the loan)
- A detailed and signed quote,
- Plan sommaire de l’habitation,
- The owner's permission, for tenants,
- A copy of the deeds for owners,
- Proof of household income and expenses:
- Last three bank account statements (joint and individual) and additional supporting documents,
- for spouses who do not work in Monaco, the last three proofs of income.
