Back-to-school allowance

No application needs to be completed for the payment of the Back-to-School Allowance which is paid to beneficiaries where the family quotient is below a certain limit. We will determine whether each insured satisfies the required conditions to receive this benefit.

Eligibility conditions

To receive the Back-to-School Allowance, the head of the household must:

  • have one or several dependent children, providing an entitlement to Family Allowances paid by the C.C.S.S.,
  • have received Family Allowances for July from the C.C.S.S. (received in august or after),
  • prove a family quotient that does not exceed €1,189.00 for this year

Amount

This amount varies depending on the child's age.It is fixed annually by the C.C.S.S. Committees.

Payment

It is paid directly to the recipient of Family Benefits and shall be paid from the end of August.
